Investments in public transportation all over the state help keep seniors active

The “People Mover”

For some Oregonians, public transportation is the only option. Like for 91-year-old Ruth Harris. She was thrilled to learn the Grant County People Mover would be expanding service, thanks to the new payroll tax-funded program from the Keep Oregon Moving legislation (HB 2017).

See her story and others in a new video from Videographer Julie Murray and folks from eastern Oregon and Highway Region 5. And see what else will be going on around the state with this new program, called the Statewide Transportation Improvement Fund, or STIF.

Thanks, Oregonians, for helping improve connections in and around communities all over the state.
