INTERSTATE 5 (Pacific Highway), MP 121, Rock scaling work
I-5 motorists should expect 20-minute delays in the Roseburg area from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. this Saturday and Sunday, December 1-2, due to rock scaling operations near the McLain Avenue interchange (Exit 121).
Rolling slowdowns will be used in the northbound direction from milepost 115-121 and in the southbound direction from milepost 129-121. Flaggers will hold traffic at each on-ramp in the slowdown areas.
The slowdowns, which are planned on weekend mornings when traffic volumes are lower, will allow workers to remove loose rock on the hill next to the highway.
