PORTLAND — Fall is here, the air is crisp and pumpkin spice lattes are everywhere.
But summer lives on one more week for ODOT’s Columbia Gorge Express.
ODOT is extending the summer bus schedule through Oct. 7.
In addition, the service frequencies will increase between Rooster Rock State Park and Multnomah Falls thanks in part to Oregon Parks and Recreation Department.
Since the Columbia Gorge Express service started in 2016, the Gateway Transit Center has made the Columbia Gorge easily accessible to users of the TriMet MAX and bus system.
In 2016 and 2017, the Columbia Gorge Express operated from May through September. This year, service expanded to seven days a week, year-round, and added stops in Cascade Locks and Hood River.
