Beltline and Delta Interchange Changes Coming!

Traffic Flow through Interchange

How traffic will flow at the new interchange.

Be ready Friday morning! Thursday night, June 10, the new traffic signal will turn on, the new lane will open — and all traffic going from eastbound Beltline to Delta Highway will exit on the west side.

This new intersection is for all Delta Highway travelers. Delta Highway traffic will stop to allow Beltline traffic to turn north. Southbound Delta Highway travelers will also go through a traffic light, but it will only activate if there is a pedestrian crossing the ramp. We try to accommodate all modes of travel when possible on our state highways. Our design allows pedestrians and bicyclists to cross through the interchange.

With the new intersection, the existing ramp from eastbound Beltline Highway to northbound Delta Highway closes to be removed.

Next, the new northbound Delta Highway to westbound Beltline Highway ramp, including the new bridge over Beltline Highway, will be completed. That is scheduled to open in August.

Travelers should continue to expect lane, ramp and road closures in the area until the project is complete.

The Beltline/Delta Interchange Project reconfigures the intersection, providing safer and smoother traffic flow between two major routes, and a better transition into the nearby business and residential area. The project is also the first improvement in a planned major update to the Beltline corridor between Delta Highway and River Road. Learn more about the future plans.

Pedestrians, including those with disabilities, will have access through or around work zones.
